Humble Beginnings, Modest Growth, Unbelievable Success

It all started with three employees and a small office in Fort Collins, Colorado. Since its start in 1989, Mark Young Construction has been passionately committed to quality construction, great relationships, and complete customer service. That dedication, along with a team of talented employees and subcontractors, has been the perfect mix. We’ve grown from a team of three to more than 250 in 35 years, with licenses in 16 states and projects in most. We are an employee-owned company.

Our projects cover the western United States and include K-12 education, office, historical, industrial, higher education, municipal, healthcare/hospitality, grocery, mountain/resorts, retail, refrigeration, and concrete. Governments use us, large companies depend on us, and clients of every size call on us to make their project a success.
